Sweet Ella's Little Bakery

Who doesn't need a little sweetness in their life nowadays? Sweet Ella's Little Bakery is the newest addition to Plain City's thriving dessert industry!

Created and ran by Jonathan Alder student and band member, Ella, this little bakery is making some big differences in our town! Her cookies are not only substantial in size, but scrumptious and satisfying for your sweet tooth!

To cap off this outstanding business, Ella is also donating a portion of her sales to the Jonathon Alder Music Boosters to help support the music department! How amazing and generous is that?!

Sweet Ella's Little Bakery

Scholarship Information:

The Jonathan Alder Music Boosters gives 6 $500 scholarships to seniors every year. We give 3 to choir students and 3 to band students. Every Senior who has been in band or choir for two years, including their Senior year, is eligible to apply for a scholarship.

The scholarship committee collects the applications and essays. The essays are then given to individuals who are not in our community and not connected in any way to Jonathan Alder. They go through several readings before being selected as the scholarship winners. Scholarships are awarded at the end of every year. For more information, please reach out!

Love to bake? Bursting with holiday spirit and need an outlet?!

Sugar Plum Lane is your place!

This annual event will take place before and after the Junior High Choir Concert on December 9th. Money raised from this cookie sale will be applied to the JA Music Boosters Scholarships that go out to JA High School Seniors, every year.

Here's how it works!

Volunteers will use the link below to sign up for what treats and goodies they'd like to donate. Patrons buy a small, medium, or large box and walk down Sugar Plum Lane for servers to fill their box with their selected goodies. Volunteers are needed to donate goodies and to work on The Lane. Treats will need to be dropped off at JAHS during the day, during event set-up, or contact Stacy Richey (614) 506-0872 for other arrangements.
